The average tenure of Chief Innovation Officers and other C-suite change makers (CMOs, CDOs, CTOs) is notoriously short. One key driver of this churn is the tension between “standing out” versus “fitting in”: because change makers are inherently required to “stand out” in order to catalyze change, they often find themselves ejected and rejected from the companies they try to serve because they don’t “fit in.” Satya Rasa addresses this problem in two ways: first, we can serve as Interim CIO, helping to guide companies through the friction of change without needing to worry about our own long-term job security…because frankly, our goal is to equip our clients with the tools to see their own transformations through to the end! The second way we can address this problem is by providing support to the change makers in your organization: we bear witness to the tensions that arise from transformation in any given company, and we help to resolve those tensions at the C-level, before they create problems for the rest of the company. Think of it like couples’ therapy for your company and its change maker(s)!

Sometimes the biggest challenge for high-performing companies and individuals is learning how to “think different” and be different - to let go of the patterns and strategies that enabled those companies and individuals to get to where they are and to learn new patterns and strategies that can enable them to move in new directions. Satya Rasa helps to shift company cultures and individual behaviors in ways that enable change to become a real possibility.

Satya Rasa helps companies at all stages of development to envision new products, new offerings and new ways of being. We accomplish this by helping our clients connect to meaningful insights about their customers and themselves and then turn those insights into actionable inspirations that improve our clients’ bottom lines.

Developing and successfully launching new products requires a skillset that typically falls outside the realm of whatever made your company successful in the first place. Satya Rasa guides you through the processes of user/customer empathy and insight identification, target market assessments, brainstorming, prototyping, business value assessment, brand integration and internal change management required to launch new products and services in ways that feel novel yet authentic and that create as little “drag” on your organization as possible.

Despite the best of intentions, it is not at all unusual for company executives to be the biggest barriers to transformation: their job is to keep the companies they lead on a steady, safe path to profitability, and so the inherent risks and discomforts that come with change of any sort can feel very unnatural to these leaders. The energetic rigidity that results from this tension between trying to hold onto the old while also moving into the new can sink any attempt at change or innovation. Satya Rasa works with company executives and key staff members to cultivate the awareness, openness and flexibility needed to lead high-performing companies and individuals through the uncertainty and newness of growth and transformation.

Anyone who has tried to lose weight, get in shape or adopt any other sort of new habit knows that “you’re not ready until you’re ready.” This adage applies as well to company-wide innovation as it does to personal habits, and knowing when your company is ready to begin climbing the innovation mountain can save millions of dollars in wasted man-hours and other investments. Satya Rasa helps companies and individuals assess whether they are truly ready to embrace change…and if not, we help you chart a path toward becoming ready for successful growth and transformation.

Sometimes companies get stuck in a rut because any number of players in the organization are hard-wired to seek out safety, operate based on unconscious assumptions, and/or push for results. Satya Rasa identifies the organizational dynamics that keep our clients in that “stuck” place and then cultivates new practices that help the entire company to loosen the grip on their survival strategies so that they can open to new possibilities.

Oftentimes the challenge is not coming up with new ideas, but implementing them…because even seemingly small changes can have huge impacts on company culture and operations.
